On thirty-one Sunday mornings since the beginning of 2010, we have posted a picture of a wooden church. The buildings range from simple utilitarian structures to outstanding examples of vernacular architecture. With the exception of the Yokena Presbyterian Church in Mississippi, all of these churches are within a 35 mile radius of my home in Greene County, Virginia.
