While looking for the picture of Margaret's Grocery that I posted yesterday, I came across these pictures of the American Queen, which is thought to be the largest steamboat ever built. These photos were taken in December, 2007 on the Vicksburg waterfront.According to Steamboats.org, the American Queen was taken out of service in 2008 and is now in Beaumont Texas facing an uncertain future.
