Warren County, Virginia
This old house is in a fairly level bottom along the Gooney Manor Loop not far from Browntown. This area was home to some of the earliest settlers in the Shenandoah Valley. At least three homesteads existed in the Gooney Run Manor tract when Col. William Green surveyed the area in 1748.
