Boxes of Vinca on our side porch drop leaves and flowers on the wood floor. When I swept the porch I noticed that an image of the flowers was left behind. So this is a digital photograph of what might be called a photograph formed directly and naturally on the painted wood floor.
The images soon faded, and brought to mind the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi which embraces the transient and imperfect nature of natural processes.
