    Nice picture. I'm fascinated by rock formations as well. There are no shortage of interesting geologic formations here in Connecticut. They make great subjects for photography. They're patient and don't move! Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks Ed. I agree--lots of interesting textures and colors make these good subjects,they are close to home and (as you say) they stay put.
