Saturday morning

Green Springs Historic District - Louisa County, Virginia 

The pictures that I posted last week from Green Springs were all taken on a damp and foggy winter morning. Around 10:00 the fog lifted and the sun started shining through the clouds across the open farmland that looks much as it did 100 years ago. It was a scene out of time.

The picture above is one of the last shots of the morning. By the time I got home, the skies were clear.
