Nice shot Edd. Lots of maintenance on a steam engine. I wonder if he missed all that when he likely went to diesel?
ReplyDeleteThanks Robert. All that maintenance was a big factor in the demise of steam I guess, and I am sure that there was some drudgery for the crews as well, but from what I have read, most railroaders hated to see the end of steam.
