“Place conspires with the artist. We are surrounded by our own story, we live and move in it. It is through place that we put out roots.” - Eudora Welty
We have a few of those around here, very similar to "Snow's Feed and Supplies". The look is very utilitarian, almost like military surplus buildings from the 1940's. Not many independent dealers left around. I like the light and the framing, good one Edd.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robert. I drive by this building every day on my way to and from work and see it in all kinds of weather and light. I particularly like the looks of it against the backdrop of the mountains in the last light of the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThis building is a bit unusual for this area in that it is constructed of block instead of wood, which is probably the reason it is still standing.
