The dogwood is called the aristocrat of native trees and this photo proves that in my view. I like how the weathered siding adds to the composition.
ReplyDeleteDogwoods are so common around here that they are ignored most of the year, but there is no ignoring them in spring!
ReplyDeleteDitto on the weathered boards. The dark grey of the boards really sets off the dogwood's blooms.
