Greene County, Virginia
The trees are starting to turn here in central Virginia and in a couple of weeks autumn color should be nearing its peak. The dogwoods are among the first of the trees to start showing color, and the bright red berries of the flowering dogwoods add to the show. This picture was taken this past Friday morning.
Yep, I've even begun to notice some tinges of color to the leaves up here in NoVA.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves seem to be falling here faster than they are turning color and it poured down rain all night, bringing even more down. Color usually peaks here around the end of October--hope there are still leaves on the trees by then.
