Mimus polyglottos - Greene County, Virginia
"Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corn-cribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird." Harper Lee - To Kill a Mockingbird
Birds are a difficult subject to photograph well. You nailed it with the great lighting and shutter speed here.
ReplyDeleteRobert, I am afraid the ratio of luck to skill is very high when I am shooting birds.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I never saw one around here until recently and now I see them more often. I love how they look "mad" all the time :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terry. They are sort of fierce looking and they are certainly fearless. You should see them harassing our poor cats.
