Snow day

Yesterday afternoon the first significant snow of the winter fell here in Greene County, Virginia. By mid-afternoon the snow was sliding down the eastern slopes of the Blue Ridge Mountains.Soon the snow began to fall in our yard and the mountains disappeared in the clouds.
